Scattered power outages were reported today around Thurston County due to high winds associated with the storm that caused flooding in Western Washington.
A Puget Sound Energy spokeswoman said outages were reported in the vicinity of Olympia High School shortly before 7 a.m. The power to most customers has been restored, and the remaining customers should have electricity by 3:30 p.m.
Other outages were reported, but the spokeswoman didn't immediately have specific locations or the total number of affected customers.
