A man sitting in a Central District restaurant late Friday was struck by a stray bullet in the calf, the Seattle Police Department reported.
Around 11:46 p.m. police officers responded to to a call of a fight disturbance involving a gun in the 1200 block of East Jefferson Street. While en route, additional calls came in reporting shots being fired in the vicinity. The involved parties were gone upon the police's arrival.
The victim who is in his 30s was not involved in the disturbance. Seattle Fire Department medics transported him to to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police do not know how many suspects were involved in the incident. No description of the suspects was available and no one has been detained at this time. Seattle Gang Unit detectives are actively investigating this incident.
