Oregon State Police arrested a Tacoma man driving a truck carrying more than 100 pounds of marijuana early Tuesday, according to a news release.
According to the release:
The man was stopped on northbound Interstate 5 near Medford about 4:30 a.m. for speeding . Troopers searched the 2005 GMC pickup and found about 102 pounds of marijuana under a blanket in the back seat. The estimated value is more than $250,000.
The 25-year-old suspect and his passenger, a 23-year-old man from Brent-wood, Calif., were arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail on suspicion of unlawful possession, distribution and manufacture of a controlled substance.
