A woman accused of running down a tow truck driver has pleaded not guilty in Seattle to vehicular homicide and hit-and-run charges.
KOMO News reports 20-year-old Shavelle M. Lewis was ordered held Tuesday on $150,000 bail.
Investigators say her car veered across Seattle I-5 lanes on Sept. 24 and killed William A. Padilla of Burien as he was working on a disabled car.
Prosecutors say Lewis has a criminal record that includes convictions for prostitution, marijuana possession and assault.
