Tacoma police on Thursday arrested three teenagers in connection with a fatal shooting Monday night in the South End.
Two 17-year-old boys were booked into the Pierce County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder, two counts of first-degree robbery and two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm. One is believed to be the gunman in the shooting, police spokesman Mark Fulghum said.
A 17-year-old girl was booked into jail on suspicion of first-degree murder and two counts of first-degree robbery.
Detectives arrested the three in connection with the death of 27-year-old Sokun Phorn, who was shot during an argument over money near South 57th Street and South Park Avenue.
A witness gave police information about the gunman and the investigation led to Thursday’s arrests, Fulghum said.
