Police are investigating the death of an 18-year-old man who was shot outside a house party in suburban Kent.
Sgt. Pat Lowery says police are interviewing witnesses from the shooting early Sunday morning.
Lowery says the man and his friends were leaving a party when they were confronted by a group of men. The two groups got into a verbal confrontation, and at least one of the suspects produced a gun.
As shots were fired, the victim and his friends turned to run. Police say the victim was hit and collapsed near his truck. He was unarmed.
