Tacoma police were searching for a man who robbed a Sixth Avenue fast-food restaurant Sunday night while wielding a handgun.
The robbery was reported just after 10:45 p.m. at the Carl's Jr., 5925 Sixth Ave. The man walked into the restaurant and robbed the employees at gunpoint. He left in an unknown direction, police reported.
Officers set up a perimeter. A police dog looked for the robber but didn't find him.
The robber was described as black and between 19 and 24 years old. He wore a bandana over his face, police reported.
