Tacoma police are investigating where a human foot that washed ashore in the Tideflats came from.
The foot – still inside a boy’s size 6 “OzArk Trail” hiking boot – was discovered Dec. 5 and likely belonged to a child or small adult.
The foot is believed to have floated in from either the Puyallup River or the Puget Sound.
Police are asking anyone with information to call 253-591-5959.
Tacoma/Pierce County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and charges filed of the culprit.
