Arrest warrants have been issued for two men facing attempted murder charges in a hatchet attack on a man in Clark County.
The victim told deputies that men wearing dark clothing, gloves and masks dragged him out of his home Dec. 14 and hit him in the head with a hatchet. The men fled when he yelled that he recognized them.
The Columbian reports the victim believes he was targeted because he's a witness in a criminal case against one of the men. Both were recently released from jail.
The victim was treated for a concussion and cuts and is recovering.
