SUNNYSIDE - A 13-year-old Sunnyside girl is at a Seattle hospital after being shot twice while inside her home in what was an apparent drive-by shooting, authorities said.
The girl, whose name was not released, is said to be in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center, said Charlotte Hinderlider, Sunnyside police spokeswoman.
The shooting occurred just after 10 p.m. Wednesday on the 1100 block of South 10th Street.
The girl was in the living room with her family when she was hit in the leg and upper torso, Hinderlider said.
Sunnyside police have no suspect information or motive yet for the shooting, Hinderlider said.
Investigators are asking anyone who saw a suspicious vehicle in the area to call 509-836-6200.
