A Pasco man accused of threatening to kill his ex-wife is being held without bail in the Benton County jail.
Derrick Norwood, 35, was arrested by Kennewick police after making threatening calls and text messages to his ex-wife, police said.
The threats had been going on for about a week, and Reanna Norwood was attempting to get an anti-harassment order against him, police said.
When he allegedly made specific threats, he was arrested and jailed on suspicion of felony harassment.
According to Benton County District Court records, Derrick Norwood contacted his former wife by phone and told her he was going to kill her.
Norwood denied threatening to kill her, but admitted to saying that if she wanted to kill herself, he would get her the gun, documents said.
