A Pasco man was arrested in Oregon over the weekend with an estimated 2 pounds of crystal methamphetamine in his car, said the Oregon State Police.
An OSP senior trooper pulled over a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire about 10:53 a.m. Saturday after another driver said the car was not staying in its lane and nearly collided with another vehicle, said the OSP.
Miguel Valencia-Gutierrez, 25, was driving north on Interstate 5 and was stopped about four miles north Brooks.
During the traffic stop the trooper reported finding the crystal methamphetamine inside a guitar bag in the car’s trunk.
Valencia-Gutierrez was arrested and is being held on $1 million bail at Marion County Jail on suspicion of possession, distribution and manufacture of methamphetamine.
The OSP Drug Enforcement Section is continuing to investigate the incident.
