PORT ORCHARD - A 25-yearold Bremerton woman and a 27-year-old Port Townsend man are being charged in separate incidents with narcotics and firearms offenses, according to a report from the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office.
Shawna Cheri Dudley Pry became a federal prisoner on Wednesday, when she was booked into the Federal Detention Center at SeaTac.
She was arrested Jan. 20 after allegedly buying a pound of crystal methamphetamine from undercover narcotics officers. A search warrant allegedly located another quarter-pound of methamphetamine in the trunk of her vehicle. The value of the total amount was estimated at $19,000.
Dudley Pry was under supervision by the Washington State Department of Corrections at the time of the incident. She was held on a probation violation.
On Monday, state criminal charges against Dudley Pry were dismissed after a federal warrant was issued, charging her with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. She was turned over to deputy U.S. marshals in Tacoma on Wednesday for booking into the SeaTac detention center.
In a separate case, a federal warrant was issued Saturday against James Charles Hazen of Port Townsend, who was arrested Jan. 20 after he allegedly purchased a quarter-pound of crystal methamphetamine from undercover narcotics officers.
He was to be turned over to deputy U. S. marshals in Tacoma as well.
