A 48-year-old Pasco man accused of sexually assaulting a young girl is being held in the Franklin County jail on $25,000 bail.
Danni Thomas Dumas was arrested Tuesday by Pasco police on suspicion of first-degree child molestation.
On March 5, a gradeschool-age girl told her grandmother that Dumas had touched her bottom and kissed her, court documents said.
A week later, she told a forensic child interviewer that Dumas also had inappropriately touched her in January and February, documents said.

He allegedly told her not to tell on him, documents said.
Prosecutors requested $20,000 bail, saying Dumas' criminal history includes failing to register as a sex offender, robbery and communicating with a minor for immoral purposes.
Judge Bruce Spanner set bail at $25,000, saying the sex offenses and robbery led him to be "concerned mostly about the safety of the community."
If charged, Dumas' next court hearing will be March 29. Defense attorney Karla Kane was appointed to represent him.
