The Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the man and woman killed Sunday in a homicide-suicide at their southeast Pierce County home.
The two were Yolanda G. Patchin, 47, and Hector Estrada, 57.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Department has reported that Estrada fatally shot his live-in girlfriend, then turned the gun on himself while four children were at their home about 1 p.m. Sunday.
The homicide-suicide occurred at the couple's home in the 4100 block of state Route 702 East, southeast of Roy.
Four children ranging in age from 10 to 15 were inside the home at the time of the shooting.
