BELLINGHAM - A school bus may have been hit by BBs from a gun while on Prince Avenue Thursday, March 31, and police are ask-ing any witnesses to come forward.
The bus had about 40 children from Sunnyland Elementary School inside when the driver reported hearing several popping sounds around 4 p.m. in the 200 block of Prince Avenue, Bellingham Police spokesman Mark Young said.
Two holes, possibly made by BBs, were found in the side windows of the bus. No one was injured, Young said.
