A 37-year-old man was wounded and another man arrested after a shooting Tuesday night in southeastern Pierce County.
Pierce County sheriff’s deputies were called to a home in the 20000 block of 75th Avenue East about 10:45 p.m. The wounded man told them a 47-year-old man had shot him in the chest, sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said.
Investigators believe the two got into an argument over a woman and one man pulled a gun and shot the other, Troyer said.
Paramedics took the victim to Tacoma General Hospital for treatment. He was listed in satisfactory condition Wednesday.
The suspect was arrested and booked into the Pierce County Jail on suspicion of first-degree assault.
