A man injured in an assault early Monday at a Lynnwood mobile home park has been treated at a hospital and released.
Snohomish County sheriff's Lt. Rodney Rochon (roh-SHAHN') says detectives are obtaining a search warrant to a mobile home and questioning witnesses to determine what happened.
It was first reported as a shooting, and Rochon says there was a shotgun blast when a man in his 50s answered the door before 3 a.m., but the victim was not hit by the shotgun blast. He was hit with something, possibly the shotgun itself.
The man's roommate and girlfriend were inside at the time, but not involved in the incident.
Rochon says investigators have no suspect or motive in the case.
