A Russell Investments representative will ring the closing bell at Nasdaq today to celebrate its newly launched RussellTick trade data service.
The investment advisory company puts together several data services used by investors and traders, including the U.S. small-cap Russell 2000 Index.
The new service was developed by Nasdaq OMX, Russell said in a statement. It consolidates other Russell products into one source, the company said.
Russell officials last year said the company plans to move to Seattle from its headquarters in Tacoma. Its parent company, Northwestern Mutual, bought the former Washington Mutual headquarters in Seattle to serve as Russell’s new headquarters.
