Russian carrier Aeroflot will buy 65 Boeing 737s, the airline said this week.
Those planes will be built in Boeing’s 737 plant in Renton.
Russian Technologies, which is buying the planes on Aeroflot’s behalf, had sought offers from all major planemakers for the fleet.
The company has also ordered 30 Superjet 100s from Russian plane builder Sukhoi Civil Aircraft.
At list prices, the 737 order is worth more than $5.2 billion to Boeing. Customers who order large quantities of aircraft commonly receive discounts.
