Alaska Airlines has Wi-Fi Internet service in all of its Boeing 737-800s and 10 of its 737-900s.
The SeaTac-based airline says its will have the rest of its fleet of 115 jets equipped for Wi-Fi by year’s end. The airline is offering free Internet access aboard its aircraft through the end of July courtesy of the airline’s Alaska Airlines Visa Signature card.
Beginning in August, Wi-Fi will available for $4.95 and up per flight. Higher fees will be charged for longer flights and greater usage.
