Another sign that at least some of the economy is waking from its slumber:
Seattle’s Expeditor s International of Washington Inc. said this week that improved trade will likely bolster earnings in this year’s second quarter.
The company said its second-quarter earnings will be in the range of 38 to 40 cents a share for the period compared with 25 cents for the same period last year.
