New wintertime schedules released today by Southwest Airlines show the Dallas-based carrier will eliminate its nonstop Sea-Tac to Kansas City, Mo., flight beginning in January.
The cancellation of that route is among about 200 slow-season flight reductions from Southwest.
The airline is adding flights to sunny and warm Phoenix from some northern cities for the winter.
Southwest said it will likely begin flying to Kansas City again from Sea-Tac next summer.
The Southwest route adjustment leaves Frontier Airlines the only carrier flying non-stop to Kansas City from Sea-Tac.
