With the first delivery of its oft-delayed 787 Dreamliner just a few months away, The Boeing Co. said Thursday it will begin training pilots for the plane's launch customer, All Nippon Airways, next month.
Boeing has already installed Dreamliner full-flight simulators in its Tukwila training center and in similar facilities in London, Tokyo and Singapore. The company also has developed a computerized training course for Dreamliner mechanics.
The new plane is in the final phases of testing.
The first Dreamliner is due for delivery to ANA in late December or early next year, about 2½ years late.
