Thurston First Bank, a six-year-old Olympia bank best known for its door-to-door banking services, earned a $402,000 profit in 2010, up 50 percent from 2009, the company announced.
It was the ninth consecutive quarter of profitability for the bank. The bank’s total assets stand at $114 million, with $94.5 million in deposits.
Thurston First, which serves businesses and offers limited individual accounts, has a branch at 204 Pear St. N.E. as well as two FDIC-insured vehicles that serve customers and collect deposits, President and Chief Executive Jim Haley said. Thurston First has a staff of 17, he said.
