The Department of Ecology is currently reviewing the City of Lacey's updated shoreline master program and is taking public comment through March 1.
The program guides construction and development in Lacey’s roughly three miles of marine, stream and river shorelines and portions of 950 acres of lake shorelines within city limits, according to a DOE news release.
The proposal is available for review in person at the City of Lacey’s Community Development office, 420 College St. S.E. or the DOE office at 300 Desmond Drive S.E. in Lacey. For DOE visits, residents are asked to arrange an appointment by calling 360-407-0290.
Comments and questions should be addressed to Chrissy Bailey, Department of Ecology, SWRO SEA Program, PO Box 47775, Lacey, WA 98504-7775, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
