Mason County's first Goodwill store opens at 9 a.m. today in Shelton at 301 E. Wallace Kneeland Plaza Blvd. The store is next to Fred Meyer.
The store opening will be preceded by a grand-opening ceremony at 8:45 a.m. On hand for the grand opening will be Shelton Mayor John Tarrant, Goodwill President and Chief Executive Terry Hayes, store manager Rod Clement and Chad Wright, a member of the volunteer Goodwill board of directors.
The store’s hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays. The Shelton store is Tacoma Goodwill’s 27th.
