Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy are cruising from Seattle beginning next year.
Disney Cruise Line President Karl Holz told Travel Weekly this week that the cruise line will begin cruising from Seattle in May next year. The cruise line’s Disney Wonder will serve the Emerald City, Holz said.
That ship is homeported in Vancouver, B.C., this year for the summer Alaska cruise season.
The cruise line president said the line will shift to Seattle next year to test whether passengers prefer Seattle to Vancouver as an origination point for its Alaska itinerary.
Seattle will be one of three new homeports for Disney cruiseliners next year. The others are New York and Galveston, Texas.
