Dr. Grant Aaker and Dr. Jane Myung, who also happen to be married to each other, have joined the staff at Clarus Eye Centre in Lacey.
Aaker received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York and interned at New York Hospital Queens Medical Center. Aaker completed his residency training at the Casey Eye Institute of Oregon Health & Science University.
At Clarus, Aaker will provide comprehensive eye care with a special emphasis in cataract and anterior segment surgery, according to a news release.
Myung earned her medical degree at the University of Iowa and completed her internship at Montefiore Medical Center at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine.
She also did her ophthalmology residency training at the New York University School of Medicine and completed a surgical retina fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College.
Myung specializes in retina surgery and the care of retina-related diseases including age-related macular degeneration, ocular complications of diabetes, retinal vascular disorders and the repair of retinal tears and detachments, according to a news release.
