Prime Locations, a Lacey-based commercial real estate company, has created a new division with some well-known leaders in the community.
Troy Dana, best known recently as the sellers’ broker for the former Olympia brewery property, has been named vice president of the Prime Unique Properties division. Prime also has retained Doug Mah & Associates LLC to provide management and public affairs services for targeted properties and projects, according to a news release.
Mah is a former Olympia mayor and City Council member. He is the owner and principal consultant with Doug Mah & Associates.
Dana is also the owner of Dana Commercial Real Estate and the former chief executive of Hodges, Gilliam and Dana Real Estate. The Olympia firm grew to an annual sales volume of $120 million before it was sold in 2007 to Colliers International.
Although Dana is best known for his work with the brewery, his expertise is in timberland sales.
The new division, according to the news release, will focus on timber and forest lands, high-amenity properties, historic and culturally significant locations, industrial and redevelopment opportunities, and mitigation and conservation areas and easements.
“Our new capabilities will allow us to represent properties that are unique and exclusive, due to a mix of regulatory and land-use constraints, high community interest or complex multi-party exchanges,” Zach Kosturos, president of Prime Locations, said in a statement.
