A rollover crash Sunday morning at Plum Street and Fourth Avenue in Olympia was triggered by a driver who allegedly ran a red light, according to the Olympia Police Department.
About 7:45 a.m. Sunday, a 55-year-old Olympia woman was southbound in a Toyota Tacoma on Plum Street when she apparently ran the light at Fourth Avenue East and was hit by a Kia Soul.
The impact of that collision caused the Toyota to roll onto its top.
The 56-year-old Olympia woman in the Kia said she thought she had a green light. The woman in the Toyota also thought she had a green light.
Witnesses later alleged that the driver of the Kia had a green light, while the driver of the Toyota had a red light.
Both women were not seriously injured.
