A man is in custody after fleeing from a hit-and-run collision in Chehalis on Friday evening.
Following a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 just before 5 p.m., the 48-year-old Rochester man fled the scene on foot.
He was located by troopers, Washington State Patrol spokesman Will Finn said, and detained on suspicion of driving under the influence of narcotics.
The man was taken to a local hospital for a blood draw, and will be booked into Lewis County Jail, Finn said.

Two people sustained minor injuries in the crash, but no travelers were transported for further medical treatment.
The crash blocked both lanes of northbound Interstate 5 near the state Route 6 overpass, and snarled traffic until after 6 p.m.
