Crews were dispatched early Wednesday afternoon to the log yard on the Port of Olympia where a truck had turned on its side.
Olympia Police and Olympia Fire departments were both on the scene near the 1500 block of Marine Drive Northeast just after 2 p.m.
Port of Olympia spokeswoman Jennie Foglia-Jones said an equipment malfunction caused the truck, which was being unloaded by another machine, to tip over.
Never miss a local story.
The truck was not occupied when it was being unloaded, Foglia-Jones said. The driver of the unloading machine was able to exit on his own despite some turbulence, and no injuries were reported.
Weyerhaeuser, which leases the land from the Port of Olympia, is investigating the incident.
