A serial home burglary suspect was taken into custody after a high-speed chase in Thurston County early Friday morning.
The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office had posted a message on social media Thursday asking for the public’s help in locating Brent Rosie, 37, who was wanted in connection with a series of home burglaries in Thurston, Lewis and Mason counties.
According to Sgt. Carla Carter with the sheriff’s office, Rosie was spotted at about 2:30 a.m. Friday at Red Wind Casino on the Nisqually Reservation.
When deputies arrived, Rosie led them on a high-speed chase down state Route 510, reaching speeds over 100 mph.
Deputies used spike strips to stop Rosie’s vehicle and a K9 unit then located him on foot.
Rosie’s girlfriend was arrested last week in connection with the burglaries, according to Carter.
