A body found Wednesday in Mineral Lake has been identified as a local man missing since July, according to the Lewis County Coroner’s Office.
Two boaters on the lake found the body floating about 9 a.m. Wednesday, according to the sheriff’s office.
Gerald L. Harris, 54, of Mineral, went missing from the Mineral Lake area July 5. Crews, including a dive team, searched the lake for days after that, but didn’t find him.
The cause of death was drowning, according to the coroner’s office.
