A suspected DUI driver crashed into a store in downtown Olympia early Tuesday morning.
Firefighters arrived at Dumpster Values at 302 Fourth Ave. E just after midnight to find the car partially in the building but no one inside, according to Lt. Jason Waters of Olympia Fire Department.
The suspect driver was found a few blocks away and police were investigating for driving under the influence, Waters said.
Firefighters secured the building once the car was pulled out. Waters said the car went through a large window, but there appeared to be no major structural damage.
No injuries were reported.
Dumpster Values has had other incidents recently that resulted in damage. In January, someone shot out a window at the store with a paintball gun. Last year, the building was tagged with anti-police messages.
