Michael C. Abraham, 59, has been identified as the man who was found dead in Sylvester Park near the end of August, according to the Thurston County Coroner’s Office.
The man suffered from heart disease and died of natural causes, Coroner Gary Warnock said.
Abraham had no known address.
The Olympian reported on Aug. 25 that Abraham entered the downtown Olympia park at about 8:30 a.m. and laid down. People who knew the man later tried to wake him and found he was not responsive, according to state patrol Sgt. James Prouty. Emergency responders arrived at about 9:30 a.m. and the man was pronounced dead.
