People for Puget Sound has scheduled a Mission Creek Cove restoration work party 10 a.m. Saturday at Priest Point Park in Olympia.
“This site contains some of the best shoreline habitat in any urban area on the sound,” said Dan Grosboll, People for Puget Sound restoration ecologist.
Work will involve preparing the area for removal of an old road and restoration of salt marsh along the fringe of the cove. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
