Two Lacey men suffered minor injuries in a crash on U.S. Highway 101, about six miles south of Amanda Park near Olympic National Park, according to the Washington State Patrol.
According to the patrol:
Francisco L. Barros, 18, was driving a 1984 Mercedes Benz 280SL south on U.S. 101 at 7:17 p.m. Wednesday when the driver of a 2000 Chrysler Voyager slowed in front of him to make a left turn. Barros attempted to pass the vehicle and struck it, then lost control and skidded onto the southbound shoulder. The car rolled several times and came to rest on its wheels.
Barros and his passenger, Andrew S. French, also 18, suffered bruises and abrasions and were taken to Grays Harbor Community Hospital.

The driver of the Voyager, Larry B. Coburn, 41, of Forks, was not injured. His passenger, Danielle N. Candia, 18, of Corpus Christi, Texas, suffered bruises and abrasions and was taken to Community Hospital.
The Mercedes was totaled. The Voyager sustained front-end damage and was driven from the scene.
Alcohol or drugs were not thought to be a factor in the crash. Barros will be cited for improper passing.
