A man was arrested Tuesday night after leading Lakewood police on a four-minute pursuit that ended when another driver hit his vehicle.
An officer tried to pull the man over for speeding just before 8 p.m. in the 2500 block of 112th Street Southwest.
“When they turned on the lights, he took off,” said Lakewood police Lt. Dave Guttu.
The pursuit never went above 55 mph and ended at South 80th Street and South Yakima Avenue in Tacoma.

An second driver T-boned the suspect’s car after he failed to yield at a stop sign.
Two passengers in the second driver’s car were taken to Tacoma General Hospital with minor injuries. The suspect was taken to a hospital to get checked out, Guttu said.
The suspect, a Tacoma man, allegedly was driving without a valid license. He was expected to be booked into jail on suspicion of eluding.
