Providence St. Peter Hospital was on lockdown Monday night from roughly 6:30 p.m. to about 8:15 p.m. after a report that an armed suspect was seeking a stabbing victim.
According to Olympia police, investigators did not know Monday night whether the subject with the firearm was a friend or a foe of the victim, Sgt. Jim Partin said.
According to Partin:
The stabbing victim was seen in the emergency room about 5:30 p.m. Soon thereafter hospital staff observed a subject with a firearm.
Olympia police did a sweep of the hospital but could not locate the person.
Olympia police were investigating a stabbing that occurred Monday night in the 1900 block of State Avenue.
Partin said the stabbing victim was likely the same person who was treated at the hospital. As of Monday night no one had been arrested.
