A 33-year-old Tacoma woman who was found stabbed to death in her home Saturday has been identified as Georgia Gunzer.
Her 35-year-old ex- boyfriend has been arrested in connection with the slaying.
Police said the man called 911 from Tacoma General Hospital and told dispatchers that he had fought with his girlfriend at her home in the 4200 block of South 50th Street and that she was injured.
It’s unclear why he called from the hospital. Officers found the woman dead inside her house.
Although the couple were no longer together, police spokesman Mark Fulghum said they had gone out Friday night and returned to Gunzer’s house.
Fulghum said the couple’s 10-year-old daughter and several friends were in the house when the incident occurred, but no one appeared to have seen or heard anything suspicious.
Detectives had not released a motive in the stabbing.
