A man who implied he had a gun robbed the cashier at Denny's restaurant in Parkland early Wednesday.
The man, with the hood from a sweatshirt covering his face, entered the restaurant at 10802 Pacific Ave. S. about 3:15 a.m. and demanded money from the cashier, Pierce County sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said.
The robber didn’t show a gun but implied he had one, Troyer said. The robber fled with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was hurt.
A police dog was unable to pick up the man’s trail, Troy-er said.
