Detectives with the Thurston County Narcotics Task Force arrested a man Tuesday on suspicion of robbing the Lacey Wendy's restaurant at 525 Sleater-Kinney Road S.E.
Zachary Lutes, 19, was arrested shortly after noon Tuesday while he was walking in the area of 25th Avenue and Washington Street in Olympia.
He was booked into the Thurston County Jail on suspicion of first-degree robbery, Lacey police Lt. Jim Mack said.
A suspect entered the Wendy’s about 4:30 p.m. Friday and presented a note to an employee stating that he had a firearm, officials said.
The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, then hopped on a city bus. Surveillance cameras on the bus captured pictures of the man, and he was identified by Lacey police.
