A leader with a Washington-based water-advocacy group will speak at Tuesday’s meeting of the Democratic Study Group at the Panorama retirement community.
David H. Albert is the board chairman for Friendly Water for the World, a nonprofit that promotes the use of low-cost sand filers to remove bacteria and viruses from water supplies in places such as Kenya, India and Burundi.
He is scheduled to talk at 1:30 p.m. at the Panorama auditorium on Circle Loop. His topic: “The Challenge of Clean Water: We Have the Answer.”
