A 39-year-old Shelton man injured while working on Bremerton's new Manette Bridge has died.
The Kitsap Sun said David Robecker died Monday night at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Bremerton police said the man was injured Saturday when a winch malfunctioned and hit him in the head.
He was employed by Manson Construction of Seattle.
The newspaper said the accident was being investigated by the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The agency was investigating because the injury happened on a barge on the water.
