Immigration lawyer Alma David will discuss the effect of immigration issues in Washington at the Democratic Study Group's forum in the Panorama retirement center.
David is an associate attorney in the Rios Cantor law firm in Seattle. Her talk is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Panorama Auditorium on Circle Loop in Lacey. The free event is open to the public, regardless of political affiliation.
Before becoming an attorney, David advocated for the rights of Japanese girls forced into prostitution and also for Tibetans denied liberties, according to study group spokesman Bob Walker.
