Thurston County is mailing out a primary-election pamphlet to registered voters’ homes next week, and it is expected to land in mail boxes as soon as Thursday.
The pamphlet from the Thurston County Auditor’s Office has information on Aug. 16 primary races. Those include city races for Lacey, Olympia and Tumwater, a Rochester school board race, and a fire commissioner race for Lacey District No. 3. There also is information on ballot measures in Tumwater and Munn Lake Fire District 15.
For more information, call the auditor’s elections office at 360-786-5408 or go online to www.thurstonvotes.org. The pamphlets are available in print, audio and video formats with American Sign Language.
As reported here, Monday is the last day for online or mail-in registration for voters wanting to cast a ballot in the primary.
