Firecreek Grill won top honors for its clam chowder Saturday at the Port of Olympia’s Boatswap & Chowder Challenge.
Second place went to Fatso’s Bar & Grill, and third place to Paprika Cafe & Catering. The Chef’s Choice award went to South Bay Pub. Fatso’s won best decorated booth.
Eleven restaurants participated in the contest, serving up 20 gallons of clam chowder to 1,200 tasters during the event.
