The Centralia police department is asking for the public’s help locating a woman missing since Feb. 15, 2014, according to a press release from Centralia police.
Gina D. Schmidt, 48, of Centralia, went missing after being discharged from Providence Centralia Hospital at around 11:30 p.m.
According to the release:
A search of her apartment in Centralia revealed that Schmidt had probably not been there for at least two months or more. It appeared that most of her clothing and personal belongings were still there, giving police the impression that when she left for the last time, she intended to return.
Gina Schmidt is described as a white female, 5 feet 2 inches and 125 lbs., with graying blond shoulder-length hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a long polyester coat described as being tan and multi-colored, blue sweatpants and a long white tube sock on her right arm.
Schmidt has a history of alcohol abuse and medical issues, including seizures.
If anyone has information regarding Schmidt’s whereabouts, they are urged to contact Det. David Clary, at the Centralia Police Department’s Detective’s Division, and refer to case #14A3683.
